Global Phonics emphasizes the connection between sounds and their corresponding spellings. Our Global Phonics program serves as a foundational course for children, utilizing proven and effective methods. They develop the ability to read naturally without the need for rote memorization of vocabulary. Global Phonics also strengthen their reading skills and enhance their critical thinking abilities. Through this program, children learn to blend letters to produce consistent sounds, empowering them to take control of their own reading development.

The program consists of 5 levels in total. A placement test with our teachers is required.
In Level 1, The Alphabet, focuses on the 26 letters of the English alphabet. This level gives beginner students a comprehensive introduction to the written form and sound of each letter. Example : a-alligator, b-bear, c-cup |  |
Level 2, Short Vowels, builds on the alphabet learned in Level 1 by introducing students to the concepts of short vowels and blending letters together to create words. Example : am-ram, ed-bed, ot-hot |  |
Level 3, Long Vowels, introduces different spelling variations of long vowel sounds and the concept that two or more letters can combine to represent a single sound. This will further students’ abilities to decode and encode a wide range of words. Example : a_e-cake, i_e-hike, o_e-home |  |
Level 4, Consonant Blends, teaches consonant clusters, consonant digraphs, and irregular spellings. These concepts often present challenges for students, and this level has been designed to help students master these combinations. Example : gl-globe, sp-spoon, wh-whale |  |
Level 5, Letter Combinations, covers the remaining sounds of English, such as diphthongs, the schwa sound and its variations, and silent letters. Example : ar-park, oar-roar, sion-television |  |
