August 30, 2023The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s most popular English language test, essential for those looking to work, study, or live abroad. Additionally, our IELTS Preparation Course focuses on strategies and techniques for all four test components:
- Listening: Learn to listen for gist, specific information, and more.
- Reading: Master scanning and skimming for specific ideas and information.
- Writing: Practice describing and interpreting charts, tables, and diagrams.
- Speaking: Develop skills to respond and organize your thoughts appropriately on various topics.
There are two modules to choose from IELTS Preparation Course which is IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.

Purpose of Taking IELTS Preparation Course
- Academic: For university admissions and academic placements.
- General Migration: For immigration purposes to English-speaking countries.
- Visa: To obtain visas for studying, working, or living abroad.
- University: To meet language requirements for higher education.
- Working Visa: To qualify for work opportunities in English-speaking environments.
Test Format
The Listening, Reading, and Writing sections are mandatory in the IELTS Preparation course and are conducted on the same day, with no breaks between them. Candidates should note that the order of these tests may vary. In contrast, the Speaking component can be scheduled up to a week before or after the other tests.
- Listening (Time: 30 minutes, plus 10 minutes extra to transfer your answer to the answer sheet)
There are four sections, which include both monologues and conversations. Additionally, a variety of voices and accents are used and each section is played only once.
- Reading (Time: 60 minutes)

There are specifically three long reading passages with tasks. In particular, texts range from descriptive and factual to the discursive and analytical. Additionally, they may include non-verbal material, such as diagrams, graphs, or illustrations. - Writing (Time: 60 minutes)

There are two tasks in total. Firstly, in Task 1, you are presented with a table, graph, chart or diagram and are asked to describe, summarise or explain the information in no less than 150 words. In Task 2, you are asked to write an essay of no less than 250 words in response to a point of view, argument or problem. | There are two tasks. - Speaking (Time: 11-14 minutes)
